The name of my business comes from my time spent as an assistant teacher at a school for neurodivergent children. There were a couple of students who often asked for what they wanted by declarative statements rather than by asking a question. For example, one of them liked to hear me repeat specific phrases or make different sounds, and when he would ask for this, he wouldn’t ask. He would say, “Esther say,” and then fill in the blank with whatever he wanted to hear me say that day. These two students had a particularly significant impact on the entire school and it’s staff. Many of us began to speak to each other with this clear and simple language, so if another teacher needed my help, he might say, “Esther will help?” And my response would simply be, “Esther will help!” This is how I began to offer help as well, so if I saw a student or anyone who might need help, I would say, “Esther will help,” or sometimes, “Esther can help?” I decided to use this phrase as the name of my business for a number of reasons. One being that the main goal of any of my services is to help. Another reason is because I want to carry with me what I learned from those students and my fellow teachers, which is this:
